Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik will definitely miss the third and deciding Test against India with the ankle injury that also prevented him from playing at Calcutta.
Younis Khan, whose second innings unbeaten 107 at Eden Gardens kept Pakistan alive in the series at 1-0 down, is set to lead the team again.
Malik has had a difficult Test series having played in the first Test defeat at Delhi when he scored 0 and 11 and then missing out in the next two after he injured his ankle playing football in practice before the second Test.
India have not beaten Pakistan in a home Test series since 1979.
